ChatGPT Citation Tracker
ChatGPT Citation Tracker: Win Your Market in AI Search & Drive Inbound Leads
Turn ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot into your highest-converting sales pipeline.
Modern buyers ask AI tools for direct recommendations. If AI models aren’t citing your brand, you are losing high-intent deals to competitors. Showing where you stand is the job of a ChatGPT citation tracker; we then work to make your business the one they recommend.

Explained
What is a ChatGPT citation tracker?
A ChatGPT citation tracker measures how often ChatGPT attributes an answer to your domain, as distinct from how often it mentions your brand. It sends buyer-intent prompts to ChatGPT, records both the brands named and the sources linked in each answer, and reports the two separately.
Keeping them separate matters more in ChatGPT than in any other engine, because ChatGPT frequently answers without retrieving anything. When it does that, there is no source to cite — so a low citation rate can mean either that a competitor's page won, or that no page was consulted at all. Those two situations need opposite responses.

FAQ
Questions
Does ChatGPT cite its sources?
Sometimes. When ChatGPT retrieves documents to answer a question it can show and link the sources it used. When it answers from what the model already learned in training, there is no document involved and no citation appears. So the absence of links in a ChatGPT answer tells you how it answered, not whether your content was rejected.
Why does ChatGPT recommend my competitor without linking to anything?
Because that recommendation is almost certainly coming from the model's existing knowledge rather than from a page it just read. Your competitor is not winning a retrieval contest; they are simply better established in what the model absorbed about your category. Publishing a page will not directly overturn it. What does help is winning the retrieval-triggered prompts — time-sensitive, narrow and comparison questions — where a current source can override stale memory.
How do I get ChatGPT to cite my website?
Be the best retrievable answer to a specific question. In practice that means making sure your pages render for a plain fetch and are not blocking AI crawlers, covering one question completely per page rather than many partially, stating the answer plainly in the first sentence or two so it can be extracted, and including specifics that a paraphrase cannot flatten. Then target the question types that trigger retrieval in the first place.
Can you guarantee more leads or AI recommendations?
We improve your website and business information, then test and refine monthly to strengthen AI visibility and create more opportunities for inbound leads. Results aren’t guaranteed, but each step is guided by measured progress.
First-mover advantage
AI answers name only a few businesses. Be one of them first.
AI search optimization is still new, and it rewards the businesses that move early: winning a recommendation now is easier than displacing a competitor later. See where you stand in your market before your competitors look.
No one can guarantee AI recommendations or leads. We show where you stand, fix what is in your control, and measure the change.
